ABOUT

MISSION & BACKGROUND:
The Huntington Beach Cultural Film Festival honors the spirit of inspiring and promoting mutual understanding, respect, safety and the wellbeing of all in the City of Huntington Beach through education and engagement. The Huntington Beach Cultural Film Festival promotes human dignity which is an important element in building a better community. In support of this mission, we host a film festival each year featuring short films created by underrepresented filmmakers. Using the arts as a bridge to promote human dignity, we select a variety of films - narrative, documentary, animation, web/new media/experimental, super shorts (3 minutes or less) - to share with local, national and global communities.
